Each month we run a poll on our website which is focused around the hottest topics in the golfing world. In January we asked you to cast your vote as to who you think will end 2017 as the World Number one. We were expecting a close contest between Day, Dustin and McIlroy to name but a few, but this was far from what we got. In the end Rory McIlroy was your overwhelming favourite to end 2017 as the world’s best player with 48% of the vote – that’s nearly three times as much as second-placed Dustin Johnson!

For February we have something a little different lined up for you. You’ll be well aware that new product for 2017 has been sweeping through the gates and onto the shelves here in the shop in recent weeks, but we want to know which of these releases has got you most excited.

Six Week Beginners Courses

We have a number of Six Week Beginner Courses starting over the next few weeks. Dates are as follows:

Wednesday, 15 February - 10:00am - 11:30am - Basic set-up and swing fundamentals, 90 minutes.
Wednesday, 22 February - 10:00am - 11:30am - Full swing lesson and practice, 90 minutes.
Wednesday, 1 March - 10:00am - 12:00pm - Short game and bunker theory lesson and practice, two hours.
Wednesday, 8 March - 10:00am - 11:30am - Long game lesson and practice with individual video analysis, 90 minutes.
Wednesday, 15 March - Individual 30 minute lesson. Diary reservation to be made.
Wednesday, 22 February - Time TBC - On-course lesson, course management, basic rules and etiquette, two x two hour sessions.

This is a six week package, designed to provide all students with a sound knowledge and understanding of all basic aspects of golf and their individual swing, helping to develop competence and confidence to play this great game.
