The Hamilton Course

At the Blackwood Golf Centre, we have two 18 hole courses, the Temple (par 54) and our championship Hamilton course (par 71).

The Hamilton Course

Set in beautiful woodland lined with gorse and water features, The Hamilton Course provides spectacular views of the Clandeboye Estate and Helen’s Tower. Each hole is unique, demanding different shapes of shot with water features coming into play on 11 of the 18 holes. The USGA greens provide challenging slopes and undulations, and are a pleasure to putt on. The 12th hole, a signature 166 yard par 3, is a demanding yet picturesque hole played over water, requiring a stiff examination of the Tee shot. Across the course, there is a spectacular diversity of wildlife, including our own resident family of swans which have been breeding on the course for the last two years.
